Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Okarche, Oklahoma

DISHER is currently partnering with a custom air handling solutions and HVAC equipment company in Okarche, OK to fill their Senior Manufacturing Engineer role. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing best practices related to lean, cost efficient, and state of the art manufacturing processes.

This quickly growing company is developing a disruptive technology in the data center and HVAC industries. They provide a secure work environment while providing the opportunity to work with up and coming technology in the marketplace. You will lead projects from the concept phase through production implementation.  
 
What you will get to do:
  • Develop and implement best practices for manufacturing HVAC coils, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and assembly processes.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineers to introduce new products and influence the design of products for ease of manufacturing.
  • Develop optimized work station layouts and lean logistics flow throughout the facility.
  • Generate capital equipment requests, along with required support documentation.
  • Develop manufacturing routings and perform time studies for production management and standard cost efforts.
  • Resolve production and quality issues using root cause analysis.
  • Develop production capacity, staffing models, and standard production playbooks.
  • Implement workplace organization (5S) and visual management processes to streamline operations.


What will make you successful:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or related Engineering discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in successful lean transformation projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in planning and coordinating new program launch activities.
  • Ability to coordinate special projects, purchase, and justification of capital equipment.
  • Experience performing manufacturing cost calculations and managing cost reduction projects.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Excel.
