Senior Industrial Engineer – Okarche, Oklahoma

DISHER is currently partnering with a custom air handling solutions and HVAC equipment company in Okarche, OK to fill their Senior Industrial Engineer role. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing lean, cost efficient, and state of the art manufacturing processes, along with the analysis and development of time and motion standards related to standard cost and process routings.

They provide a secure work environment while providing the opportunity to work with up and coming technology in the marketplace. You will assist in the Industrialization projects in a manufacturing environment from the concept phase through implementation.  
What you will get to do:
  • Develop and implement best practices for manufacturing HVAC coils, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and assembly processes.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineers to introduce new products and influence the design of products for ease of manufacturing.
  • Develop optimized work station layouts and lean logistics flow throughout the facility.
  • Perform time studies to use in the development of routings for standard cost.
  • Generate capital equipment requests, along with required support documentation.
  • Develop manufacturing routings and perform time studies for production management and standard cost efforts.
  • Resolve production and quality issues using root cause analysis.
  • Develop production capacity, staffing models, and standard production playbooks.
  • Implement workplace organization (5S) and visual management processes to streamline operations.

What will make you successful:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or related Engineering discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in successful lean transformation projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to use time study data to discretely balance the station work content of an assembly line operator.
  • Experience creating process flows and work standards.
  • Demonstrated ability with an ERP system and the use of Routing Maintenance modules.
  • Desire to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Excel.
