Sales Representative – Working REMOTE

DISHER is currently partnering with a custom seating company in Zeeland, Michigan to fill their Sales Representative role. In this role, you will prospect new opportunities, and develop solid leads into business, by providing a hands-on, technical knowledge of the products. This role will allow for remote work.

What you will get to do:
  • Prospect new potential business opportunities by tapping into new customer bases
  • Develop solid leads into business for the company
  • Partner and train with the Project Manager
  • Provide a technical hands-on knowledge of products
  • Grow and develop skills by learning from more seasoned team members
 
What will make you successful:
  • Previous sales experience in the furniture industry is preferred, sales experience in interior design, construction, engineering or project management could also be a fit
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, equivalent experience will also be considered
  • Hands-on, technical experience in seating or similar industry
  • Excitement to bring fresh, new perspectives and ideas to the sales team such as the use of social media
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Ability to work independently and be self-driven to accomplish goals with the support of the team, no micro-managing here!
