What you will get to do:
We are looking for someone who will make a significant and financial impact on a manufacturing initiative at DISHER working on valuable project work to maintain and grow your skills in manufacturing engineering.  As a part of the team, you will contribute with the following day-to-day work.  These responsibilities will call on you to foster and nurture relationships with customers.
  • On manufacturing projects, work up to 70% of time on the floor to troubleshoot and correct issues and improve processes.
  • Assist customers with the product launch process.
  • Work in a variety of project roles based on customer needs, including Quality Engineering.
  • Defend your team against a Nerf Gun infiltration by another DISHER Team.
  • Manage multiple projects/programs at one time.
  • Work with customers to discover solutions for their manufacturing facilities, including automation solutions.
  • Perform root cause analysis on customer products and manufacturing lines.
  • Coffee consumption for your own rejuvenation.
  • Manage your customer accounts and relationships.
  • Coach and develop engineering teammates as needed.
  • Manage personal work schedule.
  • Continuous improvement projects with your team.
What will make you successful:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering
  • Ability to travel to customer sites.
  • Dreaming about the future of the Manufacturing Engineering industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • A team-based and creative approach to problem solving.
  • Candidate must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States of America for any employer without restrictions or expirations.
