Disher is currently partnering with an automotive manufacturing company in their search for a Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all Maintenance, Tool & Die, Mold Tech, & EHS staff to assure, maintain, and repair all aspects of the plant equipment and facility.

What will you get to do:
  • Direct maintenance department and coordinate schedules for the most effective use
  • Participates in hiring, training and development of the team
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance problems and to keep manufacturing equipment operating in an efficient manner
  • Assure maintains and repairs all aspects of the plant equipment and facility
  • Maintains a preventive and predictive maintenance programs on all machinery, equipment, etc.
  • Coordinates maintenance department inventory system to be certain adequate supply of material and repair parts are in stock to reduce production downtime due to breakdown of equipment.
  • Maintains knowledge of the latest developments and techniques in maintenance and repair fields
  • Coordinate to ensure the facility is constantly in a clean and safe condition and enforce safety rules
  • Actively intervene to correct recognized unsafe actions and ensure that all accidents including first aid are reported
  • Build employee development plans and motivate employees. 
  • Schedule, direct and make inspections on all necessary maintenance and construction work.
  • Direct training & knowledge of robotics & PLC
What will make you successful:
  • 5-10 years of experience in machine maintenance
  • 3+ years’ experience in plastics processing and tool and die
  • Engineering degree preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to plan, organize, communicate, and motivate employees, as well as prioritize own work schedule.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand necessary safety procedures and precautions.
  • Detailed knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems, tooling and auxiliary equipment.
  • Willingness to be a coach/teacher
  • Ability to sit or stand for 2-3 hours and ability to lift / carry approximately 30 pounds.
  • Must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States of America for any employer without restrictions or expiration.
