Project Engineer – Spring Lake, Michigan

Disher is currently partnering with a global, material handling and logistic solutions company on their need for a Project Engineer in Spring Lake, Michigan. In this role, you will plan and execute the engineering work of project related tasks after analyzing the system specifications and gaining a complete understanding of the project requirements in the areas of mechanical equipment and design.

What you will get to do:
  • Plan and execute the engineering work of project related tasks after analyzing system specifications.
  • Prepare and check system layout drawings, with the ability to direct support personnel.
  • Maintain an up-to-date and complete project file.
  • Order entry of project components.
  • Obtain customer acceptance and payment of completed systems.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date project file.
 
What will make you successful:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering - OR - Associates degree with experience.
  • At least 6 years of experience in material handling or capital equipment systems.
  • Understanding of material flow concepts within a facility.
  • Experience with plant layouts.
  • Proficient use of AutoCAD.
  • Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Willingness to travel 5-10%.
