Disher is currently partnering with our customer in their search for a top notch experienced Construction Administrator. Our partner is an established A&E firm; this is a full time, direct hire role with our customer that will work closely with architects, engineers, clients and contractors.

What you will get to do:
  • Perform on site observations/inspections and document the results relative to the contractor’s conformance with contract documents
  • Oversee the day to day administration of construction contracts in accordance with the Owner-Architect agreement
  • Facilitate timely communication between the owner, contractor, architect and consultants
  • Develop written field reports and complete project punch lists
  • Simultaneously manage personal schedule on multiple projects of different scope.
 
What would make you successful:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or an equivalent
  • 6+ years of experience in construction administration required
  • Strong background in a variety of construction types, MEP building systems and a good understanding of construction documents, specifications, materials and processes/methods required
  • Must effectively communicate project concerns to the Architect
  • Experience with K-12 and higher education preferred
  • Experience with large projects from $100k to $100 Million
  • Thorough knowledge of all construction industry trades and construction documentation
  • Knowledge of all building systems, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical and structural systems.
  • Strong leadership and client relation skills
  • Experience with general contractors and the ability to adapt quickly is essential
  • Self-starter and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills as well as the appreciation and sensitivity to architectural design intent
  • Positive attitude with proven proficiency of working collaboratively and effectively within a team setting including architects, contractors, owners, consultants and vendors.
  • Regional travel required
  • Must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States of America for any employer without restrictions or expirations.
 
 
The Legal Stuff: This is a direct, full time, permanent position in our Holland office.  Salary will be commensurate with experience, including an excellent benefit package. Must have current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
