Maintenance Supervisor - 1st Shift

DISHER is currently partnering with an automotive manufacturing company in their search for a Maintenance Supervisor. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and leading the efforts of the plant’s maintenance staff.

What you will get to do:
  • Supervise and organize the maintenance staff to coordinate repairs
  • Create a conducive work environment for the team to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasks
  • Preventive care and line maintenance of plant machinery
  • Electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting of various manufacturing equipment
  • Direct training and knowledge of robotics and PLC
  • Coordinate to ensure the plant is constantly in a clean and safe condition and enforce safety rules
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies/procedures
What will make you successful:  
  • 3-5 years’ experience in automotive maintenance supervision
  • Detailed knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems, tooling and auxiliary equipment
  • Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred
  • Ability to work any shift
  • Ability to plan, organize, communicate, and motivate employees, as well as prioritize own work schedule
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
  • Willingness to be a coach/teacher
  • Ability to sit or stand for 2-3 hours and ability to lift / carry approximately 30 pounds
  • Must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States of America for any employer without restrictions or expiration.
