Disher is currently partnering with our customer in their search for a top-notch Project/Specification Coordinator. Our partner is an established A&E firm; this is a full time, direct hire role with our customer that will work closely with architects, engineers, clients and contractors.

What you will get to do:
  • Gather and dispense information throughout the design and construction of a project
  • Arrange for meetings between team members as well as between team members and clients
  • Attend project meetings, record and distribute meeting minutes
  • Maintain detailed project notes and records
  • Help develop project strategies and schedules
  • Monitor project progress and status of team members’ tasks
  • Track and organize incoming paperwork
  • Communicate with team members to ensure optimal strategy and maximum efficiency
  • Coordinate with the project manager to create and distribute meeting agendas
  • Edit specifications and technical project documents
  • Format and organize documents and files
  • Assist in coordination of project procedures and standards with new staff and outside consultants
  • Coordinate the submission efforts of many participants across several offices and projects
  • Assemble and organize multiple documents and project manual
What would make you successful:
  • High school diploma or equivalency required, associate’s degree in business administration or similar program preferred
  • 1+ years of experience working as an administrative support professional
  • Previous work in an Architecture, Engineering or Construction company is beneficial
  • Must be flexible and adept at multi-tasking
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks on a daily basis and manage competing priorities
  • Experience with Newforma or other project information software is beneficial
  • Proven organization, scheduling and time management skills required
  • Must be able to work in deadline driven environment and manage a large volume of documents
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail is a must, as well as strong verbal and written communication
  • Must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States of America for any employer without restrictions or expirations.
