We are currently searching for Interns to contribute to a creative and fun work environment in Zeeland, Michigan, full time during the summer of 2019.

What you will get to do:
  • Gain experience with product development and design through CAD design, rapid prototyping, product testing and brainstorming
  • Work hands on to gain manufacturing engineering experience
  • Create with CAD-based engineering, research and development, and reverse engineering
  • Work with inventors on innovative projects
  • Complete some manual labor
  • Not be a fetch-donuts-&-coffee type of intern
  • Work approximately 40 hours per week, flexible working hours depending on your schedule
  • Have the opportunity to continue this internship into further semesters or further job opportunities with DISHER
What will make you successful:
  • Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher is highly preferred
  • Experience with power tools or shop tools
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with AutoCAD or a similar CAD program
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrated inventiveness
  • Must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States of America for any employer without restrictions or expirations
