Engineering Technician – Grand Haven, Michigan

DISHER is currently partnering with an electronic manufacturing company in Grand Haven, Michigan to fill their Engineering Technician position. In this role, you will manage various production and engineering test related projects.

What you will get to do:
  • Perform electrical, mechanical and environmental testing on manufactured antennas and associated product line
  • Utilize trouble-shooting techniques to non-conforming product and correct fault
  • Compile test data in an organized way that allows for others to follow progression of assignment
  • Operate test equipment such as volt-ohm meters, signal generators, power amplifiers, wattmeteres, frequency counters, network analyzers, environmental chamber, etc.
  • Work on new product development, prototype fabrication, testing and troubleshooting
  • Assist in troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical manufacturing equipment
 
What will make you successful:
  • High school diploma or GED and an Associate’s Degree in Electronics or equivalent
  • Reliable and able to work collaboratively with a team
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics drawings, process sheets, product specifications and test procedures
  • Follow personal protection, quality procedures and general policies of the company
  • Ability to communicate well with leadership to receive work instructions
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job including lifting 50 pounds, negative drug screen, healthy wrist-arm motion, etc.
  • Must have current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without sponsorship
