Disher is partnering with a Michigan based automotive supplier, in their need for a full-time Sales Executive for their facility in Rochester Hills, Michigan

The Sales Executive will secure profitable sales growth with targeted customers and ensure the key influencers have a clear understanding of the company’s product.
  • Develop account strategies for target customers.
  • Build a broad network of relationships with key influencers and target accounts to strengthen the company’s reputation.
  • Develop new business by connecting with customers through presentations, events and site visits.
  • Document strategy and action steps with customers utilizing Blue Sheets.
  • Manage the sales process by being the primary contact between the customer and the team.
  • Communicate essential customer information to the team, including risks and opportunities with each customer.
  • Take the lead on negotiating business terms and obstacles as they arise to capture maximum value.
  • Close new business to grow the company’s annual revenue with new and existing customers.
  • Review profit margins to ensure pricing delivers acceptable margins.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering required, MBA preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in closing new business in an outside sales role.
  • 3-5 years of automotive industry experience.
  • Knowledge of the Automotive supply chain and industry standards including PPAP, 8D, etc.
  • Strong networking and relationship building skills.
  • Strategic selling, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
