Account Manager

Account Manager

DISHER is currently partnering with a global, material handling and logistic solutions company on their need for an Account Manager in Seattle, Washington. You will be responsible for maintaining well-established existing relationships and develop new strategic relationships with key stake-holders and decision makers.

You will be expected to always be aware of the financial targets set out in the annual business plan. You will ensure compliance with the sales process, and certify that all proposal documentation is produced and signed off in accordance with the agreed guidelines. You will work to achieve your sales targets and financial performance objectives.

Client Management Responsibilities:
  • Maintain existing relationships with decision makers.
  • Develop new relationships with key stakeholders known to be decision-makers to win new contracts.
  • Maintain role as being a Tier 1 supplier of automated solutions.
  • Lead presentations to key decision makers (at least every quarter).
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions in collaboration with other team members.
Internal Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Design Manager and Account Director on the quality and accuracy of major bid submissions.
  • Have a complete understanding of current business workload/capacity while channeling external client requests for information/quotes/estimates.
  • Collaborate with other team members to monitor the progress of current installations/projects to ensure client expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Record information related to inquiries, conversions, meetings, or other data relevant to the analysis of activity.
  • Report on competitor activity, products, and pricing strategy related to this account.
  • Produce sales forecasts, progress reports, and other reports in the agreed format.
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales, Project Management, or Engineering in the material handling industry.
  • Strong technical background and demonstrated experience maintaining complex projects.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Customer focused mindset.
  • Proficient with MS Office.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time for training and customer support.
