Electrical Maintenance Technician

DISHER is currently partnering with a global, material handling and logistic solutions company on their need for an Electrical Maintenance Technician based in Atlanta, Georgia. This person will support their customer on all automation related topics. This person must have a broad based electrical and mechanical skill set along with a proactive approach. We are looking for a Technician that is willing to travel and rotate between different facilities with their main base in Atlanta.

  • Maintenance of automated equipment on site including, conveyors, cranes, shuttles, scale checks, carton opening systems, etc.
  • Coordinate all planned preventative maintenance activities with the customer.
  • Resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
  • Complete associated work orders in their CMMS.
  • Monitor and maintain the spare parts inventory.
  • Comply to current and future health and safety legislation at all times.
  • Attend customer meetings as need to provide updates on equipment.
  • Actively work with the customer to optimize automation equipment.
  • Associates or Technical Degree/ Certificate in Controls Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Previous technician experience in a factory or warehouse environment.
  • 5 years of electro mechanical troubleshooting and repair maintenance with material handling conveyor, AS/RS, and shuttle experience.
  • PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Profibus, Profinet experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer focus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
