Manufacturing Engineer

DISHER is currently partnering with a global, material handling and logistic solutions company on their need for a Manufacturing Engineer in Spring Lake, Michigan. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for Production Process improvement. This will include improving overall production output and quality of products to meet customer requirements.

  • Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas of improvement.
  • Apply working knowledge of product design and assembly to the manufacturing process.
  • Create processes and procedures to achieve labor standard goals along with performance and quality requirements.
  • Design and develop new production methods.
  • Devise new solutions to existing manufacturing issues.
  • Apply continuous improvement methods to improve manufacturing quality, reliability, or cost-effectiveness.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience developing assembly work stations, lines, or cell, a plus.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
