DISHER is currently partnering with an industrial automation company in Holland, Michigan to fill a position in their Sales department. In this role, you will collaborate in the selling and development of innovative machine solutions that are customized based on customer needs.

What you will get to do:
  • Determine and manage activities that will contribute to company sales goals
  • Generate new leads and manage relationships with potential clients that will bring in a diverse and consistent revenue stream
  • Recognize opportunities with existing customers for additional sales or diversification
  • Collaborate with the team to develop machine concepts and quotes that align with customer needs and company capabilities
  • Support the Applications team in quoting and costing activities
  • Participate in continuous improvement and process development activities
  • Manage and maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders
 
What will make you successful:
  • Technical degree preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in sales, business development or management, account management, or marketing
  • Experience in the Automation Industry
  • Ability to interface effectively with internal and external engineers
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to interact with technical stakeholders internally and externally
  • Track record of career growth in areas of responsibility and internal/external impact
